| The wildlife was
not what we expected but interesting none-the-less. Megafauna (wolves, caribou,
bears, moose and musk ox) were few and far between, but signs of them were
common. Birds were common, as were red squirrels.
For a few days, skeins of geese,
taking advantage of a tail wind and heading south were common overhead.
Of course, we were headed more-or-less
north. Thus their tail wind was our head wind! |
